3/12/18

As a mission there were 53 recorded baptisms last week. That was a lot! Normally a week has 30 so 20 extras is insane! The work is hastening or it has already been and now we’re catching up :)

Other than that, last week went well for me. On Tuesday we went to Kasoa for a Multi-Zone Conference. That was fun and I learned a lot. Then the next day my companion and I traveled to Accra from Winneba (I don’t like traveling) and there was a big problem that happened there, so when I tell this story if I sound upset know that I am.

So, we went to Accra for Elder Bellay’s Visa (he has been assigned to Mozambique and needed a Brazil Visa) so we went the 3-hour travel to Accra. Then the area office man took him and another Sister to the Embassy (don’t worry I had a companion) and while at the embassy the area office man told my companion to wait in the car which he did, because he’s a good soul. Then they went, with the sister, and when they came back, they said they didn’t get her Visa and then just drove away without even checking if my companion got his. I understand she sent hers in first, but also, she was a day late and my companion was on the right day and the right time but they didn’t even check in, so now brazil probably thinks he’s a flake and it’s like we didn’t even go to Accra. That was Wednesday and this is why they should let us call our mothers because mom would have told me to calm down and I would have. But instead I’ve been mad for like the whole week! But, the bright side is that I bought 5 packs of gum in Accra so it wasn’t the worst day ever :)

On Friday and Thursday, we did stuff…

But on Sunday I’m pretty sure we went outside the mission. A new member moved into our ward and so we went to his house and his house is FAR! Like I’m talking 20 minutes’ drive far, on the way to cape coast. So, I think we were out of the mission, but there’s not really any boundaries, so I guess I didn’t. It was good and he is a cool member and has a lot of referrals for us so maybe one day we can start a branch out where he stays :)

Also, we had another baptism for Grace Amoah. Not like another one for her, but another baptism and we baptized her and she is sweet and will be a great member of the church :)

 I’m alive :)
